Every culture has imagined its world into existence through stories, myths, folklore and legends. But what if you could invent one of your own? In this playful, hands-on workshop, we'll delve into poetry, folklore, mythology, art and curious objects to spark the imagination. Through conversation, sketching, writing and drawing, we weave together fragments of memory, fiction, symbolism and personal experience to create your own myths, characters and imagined worlds. Participants would leave with a hand-painted Japanese rice paper lantern illuminated by the stories, symbols and fantastical worlds they have brought to life.
